This type of chassis is designed for highly reliable, high-performance embedded computing applications. Its panel design and functions closely focus on system integration, human-computer interaction and environmental adaptability.

The core structural features of the 6U5HP chassis determine the basic form and functional layout of its panel.
1.Standard modular slots: The rear of the front panel features a 6U 5HP 160mm VPX front card slot, providing the foundation for expanding panel functionality.
2.Diversified case form: Depending on the application scenario, the 6U 5HP case can be designed as a portable case, a rack-mounted case or a cold-conducting ruggedized case. Portable usually integrated display and keyboard; on the shelf focus on standard cabinet installation; ruggedized emphasizes harsh environmental adaptability.
3.Backplane support: The slots on the panel are connected to the VPX backplane inside the chassis. The backplane topology (such as Full Mesh) determines the high-speed data interconnection capability between the boards.

The front panel integrates various functional modules such as system control, status monitoring and external interfaces.
1. Power control system
Power switch: Usually equipped with a main power switch with indicator lights, some designs distinguish between front panel DC control switches and rear panel AC control switches to improve operational safety and reliability.
Power supply interface: AC 220V or wide voltage DC input interface is provided.
2.Status indication and monitoring
Indicator: Always configure status indicators such as power supply, fan failure, DC output, etc., for real-time monitoring of system operation.

4.General purpose I/O interface
The front panel often provides basic I/O interfaces, such as Gigabit Ethernet interface, USB interface, HDMI interface, etc., for easy field connection and debugging.
5.Dedicated signal interface (often found in high-performance computing or test chassis)
The front panel of some cases will provide special signal interfaces such as synchronous clock input, external trigger, 1PPS, B code, etc. to meet the requirements of precise synchronization and trigger.

* Structural Materials: Utilizing aluminum alloy or a reinforced structure, and equipped with impact-resistant corner protectors, handles, etc., to adapt to portable, vehicle-mounted, or rack-mount requirements.
* Environmental Specifications: Wide operating temperature range, commonly -10℃ to +55℃ or even wider for industrial applications -40℃ to +85℃, while also meeting vibration, shock, and high humidity resistance requirements.
